Full-Time Public Works Maintenance Operator I, II, OR III
The Town of Ridgway is seeking to fill the position of Public Works Maintenance Operator I, II, or III. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with an excellent benefit package. Current benefits include: Health insurance, including dental and vision, and retirement benefits.
The position is available to an individual to perform a variety of skilled duties related to the construction, installation, maintenance and repair of town utility and public works service systems including streets, water transmission and wastewater collection and treatment, rights-of-ways, parking lots, bridges, storm drain systems and irrigation. The position also participates in the maintenance of town parks, buildings, and recreational facilities as needed. The successful candidate is expected to have the ability to perform independently at a high level and work exceptionally well in a team and community-focused environment.
A starting hourly rate of $19.82 to $21.95 is offered for the Public Works Maintenance Operator I role, depending on qualifications and experience. A starting hourly rate of $21.79 to $24.14 is offered for the Public Works Maintenance Operator II role, depending on qualifications and experience. A starting hourly rate of $26.37 to $29.21 is offered for the Public Works Maintenance Operator III role, depending on qualifications and experience.

Full-Time Deputy Marshal
The Town of Ridgway is seeking to fill a full-time Deputy Marshal position. Applicants must be 21 years of age, possess an exemplary driving record and be certified through a P.O.S.T. approved training academy or course of study. In addition, applicants must be willing to work shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and applicants must be able to pass a background investigation, including a psychological exam and medical physical.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position with an excellent benefit package. Current benefits include: Health insurance, including dental and vision, and retirement benefits. A starting hourly rate of $27.09 to $35.50 is offered for the Deputy Marshal role, depending upon qualifications and experience. Full-time police officers must live within 25 minutes of Ridgway town limits.

Full-Time Town Planner OR Senior Planner
The Town of Ridgway is seeking to fill the position of Town Planner or Senior Planner. This is a full-time, exempt position with an excellent benefit package. The position is available to an individual to perform advanced professional level work in the field of current and long-range planning as well as development review. The successful candidate is expected to be self-motivated, dedicated, driven, experienced and knowledgeable in all topics related to land use planning for a local government. The successful candidate is also expected to have the ability to perform independently at a high level and work exceptionally well in a team and community-focused environment.
A starting salary of $60,349 to $73,827 is offered for the Town Planner role, depending on qualifications and experience. A starting salary of $66,385 to $81,209 is offered for the Senior Planner role, depending on qualifications and experience.
