FULL-TIME PRINCIPAL PLANNER

The Town of Ridgway is seeking to fill the position of Principal Planner. This is a full-time, exempt position with an excellent benefit package. The position is available to an individual to perform advanced professional level work in the field of current and long-range planning as well as development review. The successful candidate is expected to be self-motivated, dedicated, driven, experienced and knowledgeable in all topics related to land use planning for a local government. The successful candidate is also expected to have the ability to perform independently at a high level and work exceptionally well in a team and community-focused environment.

WATER AND WASTEWATER OPERATIONS

The Town of Ridgway is seeking a certified, qualified Operator in Responsible Charge (ORC) for the Town's Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant. This is a part-time employee position with limited benefits. Experience with water and wastewater plant operations with a minimum Class B Water Treatment Operator license, and a minimum Class D Wastewater Treatment Operator license required. Hourly wage depends on experience. SCADA system experience is preferred.

PART-TIME, ON CALL CIVIL ENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGER/INSPECTOR

The Town of Ridgway is seeking a qualified individual responsible for observing construction of municipal infrastructure. The job duties require ensuring the construction of municipal infrastructure is completed in conformance with Town approved plans and Town standards. Experience with the installation and maintenance of municipal infrastructure is required.

 

This is a part-time, on-call position with no employment benefits. The services to be performed are those of an independent contractor and not as an employee of the Town. The position will remain open until filled. Pay DOE.

SEASONAL EMPLOYMENT IN PARKS DEPARTMENT

Parks Maintenance - approx. May 1 through Sept. 30 | 40 hours a week, no benefits | Wage $17.00 an hour

To perform general maintenance in parks and open spaces including turf care, planting and landscaping, irrigation, trash pick-up, restroom maintenance; general maintenance of recreational fields, park facilities and municipal buildings; miscellaneous labor. Drivers license required.
